 Personal Data we collect and what we do with it

We collect basic personal or business data about you from the information you enter on our online order form or notify us of by email, telephone, letter or any other means. This data consists of your name, address and email address (and your telephone number if you choose to provide it). We process this data with your consent and for the proper administration of our website and business.

We use your data to send you the products you order, to notify you of the successful completion of your order or to contact you if there are any problems with your order. We also use your email address to send you information about our new products.

In the case of email, fax and telephone orders, the data you send may include additional financial information if you choose to pay by credit or debit card. We use this data to manually process your payment through our payment service provider Pay360.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate technical, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you. All data you provide electronically is held securely on our website. For personal and financial data we receive via email, fax or telephone, once your order has been processed we delete your security code and store your order in a locked cabinet.

Personal data sent to third parties

Your personal data is sent by email to our distribution centre which is run by CPI Anthony Rowe who process and despatch your order. Your personal data is also sent to one of our two payment service providers, Pay360 or PayPal, for the purposes of processing your payments and associated activities. All financial information is entered on the sites of these providers and, except for paper orders, we do not have access to it. We also send your name and email address to our emailing service, Mailchimp. You can find information about the privacy policies of these third parties at CPI Anthony Rowe, PayPal,  Pay360Mailchimp. No other third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We specifically will not sell or pass your details to brokers of mailing or emailing lists or any similar organisation and will take measures to ensure that these are not fraudulently obtained.

International Transfers

Your personal data is sent to our emailing service, Mailchimp, whose servers are located in the USA. You can find information about Mailchimp’s privacy policies and practices at the link given above.

How long we keep it

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) and details of purchases you have made for a minimum of 6 years. Please use the links provided above to see how long the third parties who have access to your personal information keep your data.

If you have purchased any of our products we will keep your personal data for longer to save you having to give us the information again, which will make it easier for you if you wish to purchase further items in the future.

Subject to any legal requirement, we will delete your information when you ask for it to be deleted.

We will keep your email details that we use to send you information about future products until you unsubscribe from the emailing list.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you in a digital form that is commonly readable, and you have the right to request that we correct or change any information that you think is inaccurate We will respond to any request within 30 days. To see your personal information, update it, or correct it, click on the My Account tab on the WRTH shop and log in.

Please keep your log in details secure and do not let anyone else use them to log in on your behalf.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you. You can unsubscribe from our emailing list by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email we send you, or update your email address and other contact details by following the ‘update your preferences’ link also at the bottom of any email we send you, or you can email us at sales@wrth.com and ask us to make the changes or remove your details.

Cookies

We may use cookies (small text files) in order to identify your computer as a user of our website. These cookies will not be used to monitor your on-line activities. Cookies are small information files that a website can send to the hard disk of a personal computer. They are not executable programs, and cannot contain viruses or applications.
